Tenebrismus

Tenebrismus (Italienisch: tenebroso, „finster, dunkel“) ist ein Begriff aus der Kunstmalerei und bezeichnet eine kräftige, besonders kontrastierende Form der Helldunkelmalerei, die sich seit 1600 von Rom aus verbreitete und im zweiten Jahrzehnt des 17. Jahrhunderts zu einer Stilrichtung in der europäischen Malerei wurde.


Heiliger Matthäus und der Engel von Caravaggio (1602)

Um 1590 entwickelte Michelangelo da Caravaggio (1573–1610) in seiner Schule diese besonders betonte Form der Malerei, die hartes, gerichtetes Licht einsetzte, um die Figuren aus der Umgebung herauszuheben und somit die inneren Spannungen gesteigert zum Ausdruck zu bringen. Tragende Farben sind dabei Braun-, Grau- und Olivtöne, die besonders in den dunklen Bildpartien vorherrschen und die natürliche Farben aufheben, während im Lichterteil, den hellen Partien des Gemäldes die natürlichen Farben wieder mit einbezogen werden.

Simon Fletcher gibt in diesem weiteren Band der Kunst-Akademie-Reihe des Englisch Verlages natürlich eine kompetente Einführung in die Historie der Aquarellmalerei sowie in Material und Techniken. Das Besondere dieses Titels ist aber, dass die vorgestellten Landschaften seiner zahlreichen Malreisen den Malort und die -situation nachvollziehen lassen. (Art & Graphic Magazine, 2008)
Fletchers abgerundetes Werk wirft zunächst einen Blick in die Geschichte der Aquarell-Landschaftsmalerei, geht auf Papier, Farben und Pinsel ein und stellt im Hauptteil geografisch gegliedert ausführlich erläuterte Aquarelle des Autors vor. Zunächst wird die zu ermalende Situation porträtiert, denn Landschaft sei nie zufällig, danach die Entstehung des Bildes nachgezeichnet. Die Motive stammen aus Frankreich, Griechenland, Italien, Oman, Martinique und Indien und ergeben stets leuchtende, lichtdurchflutete Bilder (...) für Aquarellisten, die sich stilistisch weiterentwickeln wollen. Landschaft ist ein Thema von unendlicher Vielfalt, dem der Autor in dieser Kunst-Akademie mit seinen leuchtenden und lichtdurchfluteten Landschaftsaquarellen eindrucksvoll gerecht wird.Den nach Ländern geordneten Aquarellen sind kurze Einblicke in die spezielle Atmosphäre, die örtliche Geografie, die Geschichte und oft auch die konkrete Malsituation vorangestellt - denn Landschaft ist nie zufällig, betont der Autor. Alles in ihr ist aus einem bestimmten Grund entstanden, und wenn wir uns dem Thema mit der gebührenden Neugier nähern und beobachten, können wir jedes Mal, wenn wir malen, ein wenig mehr erfahren über die Landschaft, das Malen im Allgemeinen und auch über uns selbst.

Ausschreibung des Deutschen Kurzfilmpreises 2011

Kulturstaatsminister Bernd Neumann wird am 24. November 2011 den Deutschen Kurzfilmpreis 2011 als nationalen Spitzenpreis in Kooperation mit der Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen "Konrad Wolf" in Potsdam verleihen.Ausgezeichnet werden herausragende künstlerische und innovative Kurzfilme bis 30 Minuten Laufzeit in den Kategorien Spiel-, Dokumentar- und Animations-/Experimentalfilm sowie - fakultativ - ein Sonderpreis für Filme mit einer Laufzeit von mehr als 30 bis 78 Minuten. Mit den Auszeichnungen sind Preisgelder von insgesamt 230.000 Euro verbunden. Die Entscheidung über die Auszeichnungen des Deutschen Kurzfilmpreises trifft der Beauftragte der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien auf Empfehlung der Jurys Deutscher Kurzfilmpreis.

Verbände und Einrichtungen des deutschen Films sind aufgefordert, ihre Vorschläge für den Deutschen Kurzfilmpreis bis zum 17. Juni 2011 an folgende Anschrift zu senden:

Die Freeware Photo Organizer (Bono PhotoSorter) ist ein kleiner Helfer bei der Organisation von Fotobeständen. Das Programm hilft, Fotos und Bilder gezielt zu kopieren bzw. zu verschieben und in einer datumbasierten Ordnerstruktur abzulegen. Das Programm stützt sich dabei auf die in den einzelnen Fotos enthaltenen Exif-Datumangaben und generiert eine übersichtliche Anordnung von Bildbeständen ähnlich Adobe Lightroom.
